Hybrid Medical Clinic: Community Health Training and a focused medical clinic
This outreach model combines elements of both community health development (training) and healthcare relief (clinic) in the week-long outreach. Before the outreach begins, the host church and global workers carefully select a group of local church workers who are focused on evangelism and outreach. These selected individuals receive training during the first two days of the program and are mentored throughout the subsequent clinic days. At the end of the week, after CompassionLink departs, these workers, with the support of the local church and global workers, continue to use the skills they have learned to access, benefit, and bring God’s relationship message to other communities.
