CSI is a Christian human rights organization for religious liberty helping victims of religious repression, victimized children and victims of disaster. CSI was founded in 1977 in Switzerland by Rev. Hans Stückelberger, following peaceful demonstrations in support of persecuted Christians. CSI’s primary objective is worldwide respect for the God-given right of every human being to choose his or her faith and to practice it, as stipulated in Article 18 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

CSW is a Christian human rights non-governmental organization which specializes in religious freedom, works on behalf of those persecuted for their Christian beliefs and promotes religious liberty for all. They exist to redress the injustice faced by those who are discriminated against or persecuted on religious grounds, to champion human rights and to stand in solidarity with the oppressed. In much of their work they address broader human rights issues that affect all people regardless of their religion, working with people of all faiths or none.

The International Society for Human Rights and its national branches are independent non-governmental human rights organizations which base their work on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights proclaimed by the United Nations in December 1948. The ISHR seeks to promote international understanding and tolerance in all areas of culture and society. It is a non-profit organization, independent of all political parties, governments or religious groups. It acts according to the philosophy that the realization of human rights and the improvement of social conditions cannot be pursued by use of force. ISHR was founded in order to support individuals who share this principle and, consequently, claim their rights in a non-violent manner.

The National Economic and Social Rights Initiative promotes a human rights vision for the United States that ensures dignity and access to the basic resources needed for human development and civic participation. Towards this end, NESRI works with organizers, policy advocates and legal organizations to incorporate a human rights perspective into their work and build human rights advocacy models tailored for the United States. NESRI takes a partnership approach to building a human rights culture in the United States, and prioritizes partnerships at the community level.

Physicians for Human Rights was founded in 1986 on the idea that health professionals, with their specialized skills, ethical duties, and credible voices, are uniquely positioned to investigate the health consequences of human rights violations and work to stop them. PHR mobilizes health professionals to advance health, dignity, and justice and promotes the right to health for all.

The Voice of the Martyrs is an interdenominational Christian organization dedicated to assisting the persecuted church worldwide. VOM was founded in 1967 by Pastor Richard Wurmbrand, who was imprisoned 14 years in Communist Romania for his faith in Christ. His wife, Sabina, was imprisoned for three years. In the 1960s, Richard, Sabina, and their son, Mihai, were ransomed out of Romania and came to the United States. Through their travels, the Wurmbrands spread the message of the atrocities that Christians face in restricted nations, while establishing a network of offices dedicated to assisting the persecuted church.
