Resourcing for Sustainable Development

The office of Resourcing for Sustainable Development is a ministry within International Ministries of Assemblies of God World Missions. The role of this office to assist missionaries with resources in order to minimize the amount of outside funding needed for projects on the field. Carol Young serves this office and is available to assist with these needs, as well as other areas of technical needs. She can be contacted at atsustainability@aol.com

SOLAR

The Solar Cooking Archive

This site is maintained by Solar Cookers International (SCI). SCI is a nonprofit organization. Since its founding in 1987, it has spread solar cooking skills and technologies where they are needed most. This link provides access to the Footsteps newsletter, a quarterly newsletter for health and development workers. Through it, Tearfund hopes to provide encouragement, inspiration and practical ideas for Christians often working with little access to funding, training or resources. This product is used agriculturally, and absorbs water and nutrients, making them continuously available to plants. It reduces labor of garden preparation, watering, weeding, and pest control.
