The 2009 Compassion Forum will be held in conjunction with back-to-back one-day seminars on Ministry to Children and Ministry to Persons Affected by HIV/AIDS.

The fourth annual Compassion Forum will be held in Saint Louis, Missouri, August 18–20. Preceding the forum, on the day of the 17th, will be a day focusing exclusively on Ministry to Children. The opening banquet for the Compassion Forum will be held on the evening of the 17th. Then immediately following the forum, on Friday the 21st, will be the day-long seminar focusing on Ministry to Persons Affected by HIV/AIDS.

The event will be held at the beautiful, newly remodeled Hilton Saint Louis Airport Hotel. For registration information and photos of the hotel, click here or on the Hotel link to the left. The hotel has numerous amenities, including free Wi-Fi in all public areas, high-speed Internet in all private rooms (remember to bring an Ethernet RJ-45 cable with you to connect to the adapter on the work desk, assuming your laptop has built-in Ethernet capability; most newer models do), a beautiful indoor pool and fitness facility, and easy access to the St. Louis Airport and Metrorail transportation system that accesses many parts of the city. The airport is a stop on the Metrorail system, so it’s a quick 2-minute shuttle ride from the hotel to the airport, and then you can get to many major parts of Saint Louis from there. The costs for the Metrorail are very reasonable.

Laptops will be helpful; notes will be provided on a Resource CD given to all attendees. Wi-Fi is available in the lobby and business center.
