The 2008 Compassion Forum was held in conjunction with back-to-back one-day seminars on Ministry to Children and Ministry to Persons with HIV/AIDS.

The third annual Compassion Forum was held in Saint Louis, Missouri, August 18–21. Preceding the forum, on the day of the 18th, was a new feature—a day focusing exclusively on Ministry to Children. The opening banquet for the Compassion Forum was held on the evening of the 18th. Then immediately following the forum, on Friday the 22nd, was the second annual day-long seminar focusing on Ministry to Persons with HIV/AIDS.

The event was held at the beautiful, newly remodeled Hilton Saint Louis Airport Hotel. Evaluations of the forum and venue were overwhelming positive. Between terrific speakers and loads of resources, attendees left with a renewed vision for compassionate ministries and how to best implement them in their missions ministries.
