The second annual Compassion Forum was held August 20-24 in Dallas, Texas. Changes were made to the format to make it much more interactive, involving participants in roundtable discussions, breakout sessions, and offering opportunities for questions and answers, as well as dialogue with presenters.
The response was unanimously favorable, as attendees reported the event was truly life-changing and provided both information and materials that will impact their ministries on the field.
One request was that the PowerPoint presentations of the presenters be made available. As a result, here are Adobe Reader versions of the presentations. The PowerPoints were converted into Reader format to make for smaller file sizes, allowing people to download most of them much quicker. We were especially wanting to be cognizant of those overseas who pay per minute. The PDF’s can be displayed full-screen, similar to a PowerPoint presentation, and video files are still embedded in those originally had video as part of the PowerPoint. Please note, some of the files are still large, so you may need to allow time for the file(s) to download.
If you wish to simply view the documents in your browser (and you already have the Adobe Reader program installed), then just click on the links. If you would like to save the files, to either view separately from your browser or to save for future use, be sure to RIGHT-click the file and designate where you want to save the document.
